Villa Anneberg

It has been a while!

This summer I have mostly just been working and there has been only little time to wear lolita, so I was very happy to receive a invitation to Katarina's birthday picnic!

Kata, Susanna and I went to Villa Anneberg (Annalan huvila) that's located in middle of Vanhakaupunki and Arabianranta. It's really worth visiting, it has a lovely atmosphere and amazing flowerbeds (I have been working there as a gardener for the summer so I should know. :'D).

Kata had prepared cake and other treats for us and everything tasted yummy. :3

The American styled cheesecake was my favourite.

It was the first time I got to wear my new Innocent World dress! It has deers in it and I love it. *-*

Sorry for the derpy face but it was really sunny. We're lucky that we didn't melt.

Lolita picnic

Evanee arranged a meet-up some time ago! We had a lovely picnic in Kaisaniemi park. Luckily the weather was amazing, even if we saw some dark clouds... Anyway, all the participants were so beautifully dressed and it was nice to meet new persons as well as to meet some older friends.

I've been trying to do my own hair more often than wearing a wig, since it's so hot that my head would probably melt if I had an extra layer of hair. Also, I want to use my Aatp dress as much as I can right now, since it's quite summery!

Korkeasaari zoo

Bf and I went to Korkeasaari zoo the other day. I haven't visited since I was a kid, so it was a lot smaller than what I remembered. :'D Still, we did quite a lot of walking! It was a pretty warm day so the animals were quite exhausted and most of the bigger animals were out of sight. But we managed to see a tiger!

The bear was swimming around eating apples. It seemed quite pleased.

Once I went in to a circus and rode a camel.. 

Not so exotic but they were cute. :D

The peacocks were walking around in the crowd.

It was quite impossible to even try to take pictures of any other animals since it was very crowdy (little children everywhere!) but I have to say that my favourites were pygmy marmosets and other little monkeys! *-* Here's a video for cuteness overloads:

Ice-cream bar

Mari invited us to her home for hanging out and eating a huge amount of ice-cream! Almost all the guests brought ice-cream, so in the end, we couldn't finish it all...

Luckily we also had some dried brown-bread snacks with cucumber and cherry-tomatoes, which were super delicious! 

Mari had grown the parsley and basil by herself. 

It was a lovely day so we took some pictures outside!

Hypecon: Lolita fashion show, Jenlayn and KARMIA

Since I promised to post more often, here's another post right after the other! It will be about Hypecon, which was arranged in Hyvinkää about a week ago.

It was nice and small event. I arranged a lolita fashion show with Mari. The theme was to show off the latest trends in lolita fashion in it's many different categories! We wanted to try something new with the poses and told everybody to move around, dance and flirt a little with the audience. Our models were the best! The show was a success! See for yourselves:

Later in the evening after the fashion show was over, I went to see Jenlayn and KARMIA perform live. The stage was very well prepared for them, lights and everything was just amazing! I was able to see only about half of Jenlayn's performance since I helped bf to do his make-up backstage, but they did really good job! Also it was so adorable how they took pictures with the fans afterwards.

After Jenlayn it was KARMIA's turn. It was the last live for bf since he left the band after the show so I took plenty of pictures!
