Tea parties and some sushi

It has been a while!

There are some longer posts I would like to share but I'm planning on using a little more time with them so they can wait! In the meantime, here's something little from tea parties and meet ups. <3

Mimi was kind to invite us to her house for some tea. I really love their interior decoration, it's like sipping tea in a museum! Sanni Siira took some lovely pictures and I'm taking the authorization of sharing my favourites. Please do not copy any of her work.

Our group photo:

And my outfit:

Skirt, socks: Moi-même-Moitié,
shoes: YOSUKE,
blouse, hat: second-hand,
choker: made by Iiraliina,
rest is off-brand.

Some time ago I also had the pleasure to attend a sushi meet up! It was held in Helsinki, which was nice since there hasn't been any meetings in a long time. It was arranged by Katja.

I totally forgot to take pictures from the restaurant but the place (Umeshu) was really nice and fancy! And the sushi was tasty.

Here is our group photo and the outfit of the day:

Dress, jacket: Baby, the stars shine bright,
mini-hat: Angelic Pretty,
socks: Moi-même-Moitié,
shoes: Montreal,
bag: Liz Lisa

It was a kind of cold day but I just HAD to wear something else than my winter-coat, so I stuffed myself with knits and shirts and felt like a overly stuffed plush toy. :D

Also, I lovelovelove pink. Bf got the jacket for me as a present and I found the mini-hat from Hellocon's flea-market. <3 Some day I might retire from sweet lolita, but that day is not today!

Thank you so much for taking a look at this post.

Picture post

First of all, wowww! I have over 100 readers! I'm confused and happy, thank you for your interest so much! Maybe I should celebrate? I have considered a give-away of some kind, but not sure how many would be interested. I'll definitely have to come up with some sort of celebration.

But thank youuuuu. I'm so happy. <3

But now, to the actual theme of the post:

Toni decided to celebrate his birthday so he held a picnic meet up some time ago! Sanni took amazing pictures and was kind to let me share them. For more pictures see her blog.

The dress I'm wearing is the first lolita dress I ever bought! So that makes it quite old. But I still love it!

I've really started to prefer going out more natural, so once again there is very little make-up and simple hairdo! It's so much more easier during the summer (and I've gotten lazy). I miss my gothic outfits, though...

I also made my friend Anni come to the meeting with me. She doesn't wear lolita so I let her take a look at my closet and choose any dress of her liking. She ended up choosing Baby's Cherry Ribbon.

My outfit:
Dress: Anna House,
shoes: Deary (from Yumetenbo),
stockings and jewellery: Accessorize,
hair roses: H&M

Anni's outfit:
Dress: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright,
blouse: Anna House
mini-hat: made by a friend
socks: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright

Parasol is borrowed from Sanni.

(Oh lord I'm not wearing a blouse with my jsk!!1)

Thank you for taking a look!

New dress and some decoration

Hello again! <3 Some time ago I sold my first skirt I ever bought from Baby (it was heart-breaking) and realized that it was the only blue coloured lolita item I had! So I found Baby's Cherry Ribbon from Closet Child. It's the dress I have been wanting for years and now that I even found it on blue... Well, you can guess the rest.

Went to buy some tea to get an excuse to wear the dress for the first time. <3

I love the text in the hem!

Dress is Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, blouse Dear Celine, shoes Double Decker and rest is random. I'm not entirely satisfied with the fist coord, and I feel like I made a better one later, but didn't realize to take a picture. :'D

Also, did a little more shopping:

I think they're brilliant.

Since bf and I are moving in together we have been working on a little decoration with the apartment. We took a flea-market and Hemtex's sale tour and found all kind of lovely stuff. <3

Old-fashioned phone bench. I keep my jewelry box and perfumes on top of it, the guitar is bf's.
The cutest jewelry box ever

I was told that there are too many roses. xD
I collect art cards and always buy one or two after seeing an art exhibition.

Mostly Finnish golden age artists
A little more playful collage, modern art but also Michelangelo and some Pokémon fan-art..:D
Saved the best for the last, I found this perfect oil-painting from the flea-market!

It's quite large, even

I don't know the artist (it has not been signed) but I love the composition so much! The technique, theme, colours, and every little detail!

The decoration is still a little unfinished, but I'll post some better pictures once it's done!

Thank you for taking a look at this post!

Pride 2013

I attended Helsinki Pride 2013! I thought that since the Finnish Tahdon ("I do", goal is to allow the law of same-sex marriages) campaign is the hot topic at the moment, I want to show my support and take a part of the march. It was amazing how many people took part and how flashy the march was able to become!

Kansalaisaloitteen voi muuten kirjoittaa täällä, jos sitä ei ole vielä ehtinyt tehdä. Lisää tietoa kampanjasta löytyy Facebookista.

I had lots of fun while marching and it was nice to meet so many friends and also some lovely new persons. I took plenty of pictures and I wish to share some here (actually, most are taken by my friend Anni who came to march with bf and me)!

The outfit of the day:
Dress: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
headbow: Angelic Pretty
knit: Alice and the Pirates
socks: Jane Marple
bag: Metamorphose
umbrella: Day

There were quite many lolitas! It was nice meeting Evanee, Momochuu and Akiko.

I also saw Elfie and her new dress!

She was giving out balloons. *-*

Dance show in Tuomiokirkko's stairs!

I received soooo many balloons! Sadly most of them flew away. </3

Starting the march!

Have a gay day everyone!

Kaya fan meeting in Helsinki

Last week Kaya came for a fan meet-up here in Helsinki. It was part of his private travelling, so it didn't include a concert or anything, but I feel very special for being able to experience such a thing!

Kaya was wearing a lovely Baby, the Stars Shine Bright's blue dress and a matching ribbon. He was so cute, energetic and kept smiling. I felt to positive!

The event started with question & answer. I got to be the one to ask the first question! I was so nervous. First I thanked him for coming to Finland in extremely voice-shaking-Japanese, in witch he answered cutely "Kiitos". I had to ask the question in English though, my Japanese language skills are way too poor for anything complicated yet.

I asked Kaya about how his dresses get designed and made and how much he himself has to do with the designing progress. He told us that he creates the main idea and theme for the dress, as each song has a specific theme of it's own. All in all it seems to be quite a long progress to create a whole look, but it really pays off!

Finnish fans were quite eager of asking questions, there were always several fans waiting for their turn. Kaya flirted with the audience, gave very long and thoughtful answer for each question and also asked questions from us, like when Aysha asked that with which artists/bands Kaya would like to work with, Kaya wanted to know if we had any wishes. We told him that we want to see him with D and Mana!

Kaya himself told us that he has plans with Selia, SiSeN, Hizaki and Hora!

After the Q&A Kaya signed autographs. I took my Chocolat photo with me to get it signed, because Chocolat is one of my dearest songs from Kaya.

I bought two photosets and QUEEN album. It has Awilda, Ophelia, Rose Kingdom and Transmigration, so I'm quite happy.

Salome photoset
Schwarz Stein photoset
QUEEN album and Kaya's autograph

Naturally the event was also a wonderful excuse to get all dressed up, so here's the outfit of the day:

Headdress, blouse, shoes: Moi-même-Moitié
Skirt, bustle: hand-made
corset from Morticia
jeweler: Alchemy Gothic and random

Pictures by Inka

I had a massive hair-failure, my curling iron broke when I had curled about half of my hair... It was quite catastrophic, so I apologize if it looks messy. This is why wigs are so handy and I should never try to do anything with my real hair.  xD

All in all, it was such a lovely event. Thank you so much, Kaya.

Paris, Lolita Convention 2012

About two weeks before the Lolita Convention I decided that I really want to go there too. The convention was in Paris! I love Paris!! The trip was just wonderful.

I was really looking forward to seeing GPK in his showcase. It was really worth the wait, he was amazing.

We also did a lot of shopping and took tons of pictures.... I'll post a lot of pics in this post, so prepare yourselves. xD

Day 1.

Momo and I arrived to our hotel which was located to Republique. We did some sightseeing, walked quite a lot and went to Italian restaurant.

Outfit of the day!

Notre Dame

Inside of Notre Dame. The windows are just so beautiful when light  comes through them.

We ate pizza!

I just loved these metro entrances! They were like from a fairytale!
Day 2.

So this was the first convention day. We got dressed up and headed to Pelleport where the convention was being held.

Before the convention we went to a park nearby and took some pictures:

Outfit of the day:
Dress, chocker, headdress, socks: Moi-même-Moitié,
rest is offbrand.

There were so many sellers over there! And everyone looked so beautiful, French lolitas are just lovely. I also have to point that there were surprisingly many Finnish lolitas... But also British, Swedish, and Russian lolitas and aristocrats I got to talk to.

With Kamihana Shi
I ended up spending lots of time behind Rosa Nitida's desk. I had missed Iira so much (and my feet were hurting from wearing platforms) so it was plenty of fun (and comfort). Hopefully I was even some help for her. xD

Now may I start with the fangirling? I mean GPK! Really! I'm still so happy I got to meet him!

I have listened GPKISM for a while, I fell in love with the dark sound and beautiful image. I was so heartbroken when it was announced that they would take a break, but then I found out about GPK's solo work!

With Kamihana and Iira. Haha out clothes match.

I really am hysteric when it comes to some artists so I just hope I didn't act too awkward. Anyway, they were selling a Phoenix CD, photoset and a poster. I bought them all and got plenty of autographs. <3

I asked him to write me a small part of some lyrics and mentioned that Iudicium is one of my favourite songs. He wrote this. So... I ended up crying.

The concert was great! First there was question & answer, we asked if he had any plans with Flood of Rain, which lipstick brand he uses, how is his taste in music and what kind of things inspire him.

After the Q&A GPK played some remastered GPKISM songs and sang. I adore his voice so much, it's absolutely beautiful. I just wish there could have been more proper stage and such. I hope to see GPK in all his glory!

Some pictures Kamihana Shi took:

Aah it was so great. <3

You can find GPK's fanpage from Facebook: Gothique Prince Ken
And also lots of information of his new work from Official French Street-team
Please also listen to his tracks here.

Day 3.

So we headed back to the convention!

With Iira
Iira, Toni and I are so cool that we should form a visual kei band
With Russian lolita and aristocrat. I loved their look!
Iira became spare-Ken
...and I became spare-Iira
On the second day, fashion show was being held. It was lovely! All the models were so beautiful and all of the clothes were stunning. I took some pictures, mostly of Cloudberry Lady.

And other showcase was being held! GPK first sang some GPKISM's Japanese songs and also some other because we shouted that we wanted more, afterwards he played a short DJ set.

I'm so happy... So overwhelmingly happy... He sang Angelus!! I love Angelus so much. I could have never believed that I'd get to hear it live. So again, I ended up crying.

During the DJ set all of the Finns were dancing again, and he played Velvet Eden's remix Witch on flames! Yaay!

Day 4.

The final full day in Paris. We decided to shop and walk around.

I tried to create some kind of gyaru look.

Outfit of the day:
Knit: Alice and the Pirates,
dress: Yumetenbo's Deary,
socks: Jane Marple,
shoes: Melissa/Vivienne Westwood
roses from H&M and lashes are Diamond Lashes!

We started with Momo by going to a manga shop, the best in Paris, which unfortunately ended up being closed.

After accepting the fact that the shop would stay closed we headed to Baby, the Stars Shine Bright's store. We met panda kigurumi wearing Iira (she was like the cutest plushie) and Jasmine, very nice and pretty Italian lolita.

I bought Alice and the Pirates Drosselmeyer's Wonder Box one-piece in red and a matching ribbon. The dress is so cute and elegant!!

Next we met some lolitas from London and headed together for crepes!

I had nutella banana crepe!
After the crepes Iira, Toni, Jasmin, Momo and I decided to head to Lafayette to do some Vivienne Westwood shopping... I ended up buying Melissa's sandals for very reasonable price.

Later on we visited streetfashion shop Harajuku.

In the evening Toni, Momo and I walked... a LOT. I mean, LOT. All the way from Notre Dame to Eiffel tower and to Les Invalides. I have to mention that we had already walked a lot while shopping earlier. My poor feet were hurting so bad but it was definitely worth it! The weather was nice so we did lots of sight-seeing.

A random guy under Eiffel tower shouted to Toni "JESUS! We will follow you to Nazareth!" and walked behind him like that for a while. People around us applauded. XD

Maybe I'll post the stuff I bought next... So these are from the convention and from Lafayette and Les Halles.

Melissa sandals and Chantilly socks in brown x cream

Supercute carriage necklace with pearls

Rosa Nitida chocker. I love the materials..!

Hair-rose

...they match!

Some claire's earrings and a ring I bought from Iira

French manga for my little sister. She can speak French! Unfortunately I can't. XD

Some books I bought from the convention. Junko Mizuno's la Petite Sirene  and a picture book of BJD dolls.

La Petite Sirene, it's in French so I will not understand a thing, but the art is so beautiful!

The BJD book is actually a souvenir for a friend. <3

And finally... Chantilly's bonnet! I have the perfect socks for this. I'm so exited of creating a coord with this!
So the following day, we had to leave... I'm going to miss Paris so much. But I know I will definitely return there. <3

Last pictures:

Wearing my new AatP dress. The last Starbucks at Arlanda airport! I  was so tired. x__x

Admiring GPK's photoset. XD
Thank you so much for taking a look. <3 As a reward for those who had the energy to view all of it, I'll post the idiotic pictures here:

Have a nice summer everyone!
